Unlike anything I've played. Takes actual online research, thinking outside the box and dedication to beat these challenges. Ever want to be batman outsmarting his enemies? Or a detective in a noir book? Or the vigilant citizen decoding public events? That's genuinely how this game makes me feel. Give it a try. It's not for everyone, a lot of people just don't like thinking that much, but for those who it is for it is 1 of a kind. Something memorable in this app store full of forgettable.

A clever idea, and not badly executed, but there are a few problems. In a couple of puzzles, you are expected to look up old newspapers but the sites where they are archived are either not accessible without memberships or have broken images. The text throughout was not carefully vetted, and the mistakes are not in character with the person addressing you. Anyway, as I said, it's not bad.

It's not just another thoughtless game and I like it for that reason. Some things are more thought provoking than others but overall the game definitely requires a level of research and thought. It's not 5 Stars for me due to a few typos found at various points within the game. For instance, "woud" instead of "would", "cheecky" instead "cheeky" and the omission of words like "to" in the dialogue etc. All in all, still a good games. More chapters please!
