Despite being hailed as working on Android, this app repeatedly disconnects from the central meet timer during the course of a meet. within a 2.5hr time block each of the last two meets, it has disconnected (refused to start the timer for the next race) a minimum of four times. The i-phone version did not disconnect at all. This places meet organizers in a predicament, as they cannot truly open volunteer slots to everyone unless they purchase Apple products for use.

I have used my Android phone for timing summer swim meets for 5 years. I have never had a problem with the app and my phone until this summer. I couldn't scan the required qr code to log in as a timer. In the past it had been a numerical code rather than a qr code. The back up phone (Apple) would not scan the qr code. Very disappointed with the current version of this app.

Swimmingly wouldn't get past the 4 digit code. I had location permissions enabled and was wifi connected with password entered but it just sat there swirling at the code screen for 10 minutes. A reinstall didn't help. Everyone using ios was able get it to work but not if you have Android. Embarrassing.
