About this app

Radio is a free, fast and simple player for live radio: thousands of stations from across the United States and from around the world, full podcasts, a driving mode and a clean listening experience. No account and no sign up.

Radio stations
• Thousands of live stations, ordered by what people actually listen to
• Pick any country and browse its stations, the United States included
• Filter by category (news, pop, country, jazz, talk and more) and by language
• Smart search that ignores dots and symbols in station names
• Favorites and a recently played list
• Two layouts: list or grid

Podcasts
• Podcast charts for every country plus free search
• The episode archive of every show, including old episodes, as far as the show publishes them
• Direct links to the episode page and a YouTube search for the episode

Driving mode
• A black screen with oversized buttons, built for the car
• Voice search: say a station name and it plays
• Switch stations from steering wheel controls, the notification and Android Auto

Also inside
• Chromecast support: send the sound to your TV or speakers
• Sleep timer: stop after a chosen time or at an exact hour
• Live song titles while a station plays, where the station provides them
• One tap song identification, broadcast schedules and station website links
• Dark or light background, your choice
• Completely free, no sign up. A small ad banner on the player screen keeps the app free

The app plays live public streams transmitted by the stations themselves. Names and logos belong to the broadcasting stations and are shown for identification only. The station directory comes from the free Radio Browser community. Station owners are welcome to contact us for any correction or removal.

What’s new

The back button now keeps the app open while the radio plays. The full screen player shows a small ad banner. Bug fixes.
