Get up-to-the-minute updates on emergencies that affect you and your loved ones, from weather to hazardous materials to public safety alerts. Hyper-Reach Anywhere connects to the world-class Hyper-Reach Emergency Notification System in your county to provide you instant information. If your county does not have Hyper-Reach yet, ask them for it.
In addition to providing timely information about your own location, you can receive emergency information on any number of other locations you configure, like your child’s school, parent’s home, or your work.
Share relevant alerts instantly via email, Facebook, Twitter, or other social media.

My county opted in to this a couple of months ago and I get no notifications at all and the app doesn't even show up correctly on my phone. Currently under a tornado watch and have received nothing from this. Thankfully, I have another app downloaded for weather but that doesn't help with community updates.

Coverage and Safety! One of the best things about this application is the alerts I receive before the storm. I was recommended this by my county's emergency management on Facebook, and it works wonders for emergency alerts. I get calls, text messages, AND notifications on the app to notify me of any situation. Props to the developer who made the app public!

Could be a lot better if after you checked your alert that you could keep going back and checking to see if alert has expired.
