Turn business cards into contacts without typing every detail by hand.
CardMaster is an AI business card scanner and contact manager. Take a photo or choose an image to extract names, companies, job titles, phone numbers, email addresses and more. Review the results, make corrections and save to your phone contacts.
Save contacts to a Google account on your Android device to make them available in Google Contacts on other devices when contact sync is enabled.
BUSINESS CARD SCANNING
• Capture a business card or choose a photo from your gallery.
• Use Google Gemini AI to recognize contact information.
• Extract names, companies, job titles, phone numbers, emails and addresses.
• Recognize additional details such as Taiwan business tax IDs, LINE IDs and WeChat IDs.
• Compare the photo with the results and edit before saving.
Recognition requires an internet connection. Image quality, glare, fonts and card layouts can affect results. Always check the information before saving.
MULTIPLE CARDS IN ONE PHOTO
Use multiple-card mode to recognize up to 10 business cards in a single photo. Each card becomes a separate contact to review.
• Zoom and pan the photo to check details.
• Review and edit one contact at a time.
• Save a contact and move to the next.
• Handle possible duplicates as you go.
Multiple-card recognition is also available on the free plan. Usage is counted per successfully recognized card, not per photo.
CONTACT SAVING AND DUPLICATE CHECKS
Save reviewed details to your phone contacts. Contacts saved to a Google account can sync through Android's account settings. When a possible duplicate is detected, review the options before proceeding.
Sync depends on your device and account settings. Duplicate checks cannot identify every duplicate.
GET STARTED
1. Sign in with Google.
2. Choose single-card or multiple-card mode and capture or select a photo.
3. Review the recognized details and make corrections.
4. Confirm Save to add the contact.
The app interface supports English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.
FREE PLAN AND INTRODUCTORY TRIAL
The free plan includes 10 successful card recognitions per month, including single-front and multiple-card recognition. You can review, edit and save contacts within this allowance without subscribing.
Eligible accounts receive a one-time, one-month Premium trial. No subscription purchase is required to start this trial, and the trial itself does not automatically charge you. Without a separate paid subscription, your account returns to the free plan when the trial ends. Check the app for your trial expiry date.
PREMIUM
• Scan beyond the free plan's 10-card monthly limit.
• Combine the front and back of a business card into one contact.
• Export individual or multiple contacts as vCard (.vcf) files.
• Set follow-up reminders.
• Explore Chinese name analysis for entertainment and reference.
Monthly and annual plans are available in supported markets. See Google Play for local prices and renewal terms. Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled according to the purchase terms. Manage or cancel them in Google Play.
PRIVACY AND DATA USE
Uploaded card photos pass through our backend to Google Gemini for recognition. Chinese name analysis also sends the name being analyzed to Gemini. Results return to your device for review.
Our backend does not maintain a business card content database. We retain account, membership and usage records needed to operate the service. Card photos and related data may be stored on your device; saved contacts are managed by your device or selected account.
We do not sell Google user data or use Google Workspace API data to train generalized AI or ML models. See our privacy policy for provider processing, data sharing, retention and deletion details.
