Why Abhedya Requires Accessibility Permission

The Accessibility Service enables Abhedya to identify and help prevent suspicious communication attempts from unknown international numbers on WhatsApp.

When a WhatsApp notification is received:

Abhedya checks whether the incoming number exists in the user’s saved contacts.
Trusted or saved contacts are ignored and no action is performed.
Unknown numbers are analyzed through Abhedya’s threat detection engine using predefined security and risk indicators.
If a communication attempt is identified as potentially harmful or suspicious, Abhedya may use limited UI automation to help block or restrict the interaction and protect the user from scams, phishing attempts, fraud, harassment or extortion-related communication.
What Abhedya Accesses

It only processes information necessary for security protection, including:
