About this game

IBF Backgammon Tournaments is the official app of the International Backgammon Federation. Register for official IBF tournaments, join federation clubs and play live backgammon matches against players from around the world, right from your phone.

OFFICIAL TOURNAMENTS
See upcoming IBF tournaments with their start times, entry conditions and number of places, and register with a single tap. The home screen always shows the next events you can enter.

FEDERATIONS AND CLUBS
Browse the federations and clubs that run events in the app and send an application to join the ones you play in. Each club shows its active tournaments and members, so you always know where the next game is.

LIVE ONLINE MATCHES
Play real-time backgammon against other players:
• matches to a set number of points
• the doubling cube
• a time bank for every move
• automatic dice rolls

BRACKETS AND RESULTS
Follow every tournament as it unfolds: the list of participants, the knockout bracket, the standings table and the prize places.

FAIR PLAY
Dice are rolled on the server, not on your device, and every match is recorded, so tournament organisers can review results and resolve disputes. The dice sequence of a finished match can be checked afterwards.

STAY INFORMED
Turn on notifications to get tournament reminders and news from your clubs. Notifications are optional and can be switched off at any time.

FREE TO PLAY
The app is free to download and has no in-app purchases.
