Create your contact filter, put your phone in your pocket, and when it buzzes, you can look and match the profile picture with who is in the room. Then go say Hi!! You can read what they share on their profile to get some ideas on how to break the ice when introducing yourself.
If you are at a coffee shop getting your coffee and make eye contact with someone but can't introduce yourself because your business contact is waiting, IceBrekr can rescue that opportunity. Quickly see their profile on IceBrekr and message your interest, or temporarily save their profile to view later and message. Or use private reciprocal matching, and if they happen to save you also, then you will both be notified.
The IceBrekr app enables IceBrekr users to make connections with each other when they are within viewable distance of each other. Utilizing the same type of technology as other peer-to-peer sharing and communication signaling, IceBrekr provides visibility of profiles based upon user filters and preference, and within a distance that enables visual confirmation.
Through a discovery screen which users can opt-in to display their profile to other users who are within eyeball distance, IceBrekr allows users to notify each other, signaling their interest in connecting. IceBrekr doesn't use GPS in delivering it's connection capability but simply makes use of the 'Location' package to maintain background operation while the app screen is dormant in your pocket, exactly how music apps do.
If you are not interested in connecting with someone you see on your screen, or they sent a notification, an option to mute them enables disappearance of both users from each others' Discovery screen---or you can also block them permanently.
