Ice Catch Quest is a match three game played from above a frozen lake. Thirty holes are drilled through the ice and every one of them hides a fish, but the water is dark and you cannot see any of them until you open a hole. Tap three holes in a row. If the same fish is waiting under all three, they are pulled onto the ice for good. If the three do not match, the water closes over them again and the only thing you keep is the memory of what was where.
That single rule turns the lake into a memory puzzle with a cost. Every set of three holes spends one try, and each lake gives you a fixed number of them, so a lucky guess early on is worth far less than a careful map of the ice built up over several sets. Later lakes hide more kinds of fish under the same thirty holes and hand out fewer tries, which is where remembering a hole you opened six sets ago starts to matter.
The peek is the only help you get. It turns the whole sheet of ice clear for a moment and shows every fish at once, and you get two of them per lake. Using both peeks in the first minute usually wastes them, because what you cannot remember you cannot use. Finishing a lake without a single peek earns its own trophy.
Twelve lakes run from the first hole to the polar quest, each keeping its best score. Tries and peeks left over when the last fish comes out are turned into bonus points, so a clean lake always beats a slow one. Eight trophies follow the milestones from a first cleared lake to three hundred fish landed, and the anglers board ranks your best lake against the regulars on the ice.
Ice Catch Quest is played in portrait and works completely offline. There is no account, no advertising, nothing to buy and no timer. Lakes, scores and trophies are stored on your device, and the settings screen holds a single clear data button that removes all of them.
Open three ice holes from memory and keep only the triples that match.
