Cant set up working VPN Am testing the trial but when I set up VPN, the client connects ok (no errors in server/client log), client gets IP address, all seems ok. But the internet doesnt work from client, cannot even ping. All firewalls disabled. I suspect something wrong in ServerUltimate parameters or some bug in VPN implementation? I have android 5.1.1, rooted.

Didnt work for me. I needed to install OS from my mobile phone using PXE over my personal wi-fi router. I struggled for hours setting up PXE at home. Didnt work. Cant find any documentation. Does it require me to setup port forwarding? I only see logs with IP negotiation happening between my PC and the router. How is the router supposed to know about the PXE DHCP and TFTP servers and forward those requests? Does that happen automatically? I can change the rating if I can get this to work. I hope this app doesnt required rooting the phone.

Support The free trial ended before I could really learn how to fully use it and use the tools. Really wanted to learn some new stuff that this app offers,but was very disappointing when the trial ended so quickly. I don't know if it's worth it to buy the premium since I didn't see what or how it can help me or even work to gain my skills through this process to be able to learn things I need to help the setups of wireless routers and such. Leave me feedback and maybe you can convince me otherwise.

Super limited trial, and on top of that, incredibly intrusive ads. I'm all for paying for it but give me the chance to make it function first. As well, ads are designed to provide income for a free app, they should not be so invasive as to force someone to purchase your app. On top of that, the excuse "we have to have all this because we need to make money" is bull. Step it down a notch. Ads are designed to be viewed by the user, not invade their the activity they are currently in. I will not be purchasing your application. There are plenty of ways to achieve ad revenue aside from the tactics used in this application.

i bought it some time ago, never really got it working. today, i actually went ahead and tested some things. guess what, most of the app is just unusable. simple servers work for the most part, but don't try to use the manually configured ones. they just don't work.even a simple FTP server, that has pretty much no configuration fails to work unless its the simple variant. but even if they work, its just barely. SSH over putty works, general SSH from linux and cygwin doesn't, because the used algorithm has been depreciated ages ago. every single "server" has a problem like that. its definitely not worth its money.

Friggin Great does pretty much everything you could ask for ... had a few problems restarting nodejs server but besides doing a full debian pack install this is the only nodejs deployment I found on android that works

Usual crap Nowadays none of these low-level servers are able to allow you to write on external sdcards on non rooted phones, since some genius at Android have thought to disable such permission. This app is even worse, for it is expensive and they don't tell you that Android morons have rendered it too basically useless.

I tried httpd and ftp server, working more than expectation. I tried pxe server. Since device is not rooted, desktop dhcp network boot could not get listening port 67. Will pxe server work with non-rooted device to boot up machine via network boot. If solution work as expectation, i would like to buy multiple licenses.

Or buy some domains and run them off your phone. Think facebook is powerful look at the capabilities of this app.

One of the best application out there. This is just an amazing piece of software. I absolutely love it. But since I only use 3-4 different servers, the price tag is a bit high for me. If there were a "lite" version available, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

App is not reaction First run - change log appears, OK button not active. After some hacks I got through the "change log" popup, trying to add new server, button not reacting. Message that there are no active servers yet is blinking. Exit doesn't work, as confirmation button is not active - it is grayed out Using on TV Box with Android 6.0.1

Doesn't really work SFTP failed with the first file transfer. Also, logging is brain-damaged. The time that should have read 20:30 reads 08:30, with no a.m. or p.m. indicated. Rsync doesn't work with SSH. Many other problems. Just get SSHdroid. It's not as full-featured, but it at least works minimally.

I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience. Regarding SFTP, could you elaborate a bit what device and android version you use? It should work, we always test it thoroughly on different devices. Regarding RSYNC, we don't offer rsync over ssh yet, apologies for that.

It is October 2017. Works well. Just make sure that N-O (no) Bluetooth spoofing or wifi spoofing is present. [Free Wifi Connect (with the blue icon- you can block wifi connection with this, like Google Starbucks known for hackers through open wifi through locked devices in apartments above, also from those using their mobile wifi hotspots with cable company & other similar names throughout the entirety of NYC) and Bluetooth Firewall (by Fruitmobile - pay for it). Use the radar scan to determine proximity of devices that are other than yours. Mine showed a Chromecast 6385 open wifi in an ad-hoc configuration (a Bluetooth factory-shipped configuration? Possibly? Change name on that if possible. Not sure if that is the default on those devices like the model number of the brand and OS is now the fault on Bluetooth and your personal router from your ISP comes in a similar fashion. Change your SSID broadcast name in your router as well as password. In 2009-2010 htc through Verizon still shipped our family's phones with unique Bluetooth ID numbers. I have since changed companies and discovered this. Change your Bluetooth device name. Using that above named app, I also discovered that my Bluetooth on one of my devices (all have different OSs) have been spoofed. This has the propensity for abuse by others more knowledgeable than the average user. If you find these, add your trusted devices to your list in both apps. After this, make sure you programme correctly. I am disappointed that the app now uses prests in lieu of personally configurable ones (at least on my simple server on this app). Now that Tor on Android also uses presets instead of previously configurable individual IP and addresses and ports and has vpn as an experimental feature, this ability to configure is more important than ever (on the simple server, especially). I hope this information is helpful.

It's good, but you should be able to customize ports. e.g., I have a custom script that uses port 6464. None of these use port 6464.
