About this game

Arctic Ice Drifter is a mobile exploration game that places you aboard drifting ice floes in the polar ocean, where your mission is to discover ancient fish species preserved beneath the frozen surface for millions of years. The game combines real-time ice drift mechanics with a deep-sea fishing system, creating a unique gameplay loop where timing, resource management, and exploration intersect.

Each expedition challenges you to manage your oxygen supply while navigating shifting ice platforms across uncharted Arctic waters. Tap glowing disturbances beneath the surface to cast your line and pull up creatures that have remained hidden since the Devonian period. Chain successful catches to build score multipliers and unlock entries in the in-app encyclopedia.

The application features a comprehensive encyclopedia of fictional ancient Arctic fish species, each with scientific classifications, geological era data, depth ranges, and detailed biological descriptions. A persistent collection system tracks your discoveries across sessions, rewarding repeated play with new unlocks and statistics.

The interface is designed around a dark Arctic color palette with deep ocean blues, teal accents, and frost-white typography. All screens adapt to any screen size without overflow, maintaining visual consistency from compact phones to large tablets. Custom typography using Orbitron and Josefin Sans typefaces reinforces the scientific expedition atmosphere throughout the application.

Arctic Ice Drifter operates entirely offline with no network dependency, no advertisements, and no in-app purchases. All visual assets and font files are bundled within the application package.
