i have been using icedrive for a long time, definitely over 3 years and there are some kinks here and there in the app ever since but now for the past two days for me i can download but uploading is extremely unstable. i can upload one file and it will work, and sometimes not even that. and you can forget uploading multiple files. i know that the storage industry is horrible right now, but i really am having a terribly frustrating experience.

This seemed like a great alternative to Google Drive at first, and it was much faster... I'm not sure what has changed, but today I'm trying to download ~60GB of data from the drive and it's downloading at LESS than 1MB per second, and my download is going to take 16 hours!!!! The PC I'm using is wired directly to a 1 Gbps connection. This is a totally unacceptable level of service. It's going to take me days to pull everything off IceDrive and look into subscribing to a better service.

Generally the service is quite good, especially for the money. But I had been working on two projects which it did not save. I use the cloud service as a back-up safety measure, so that if something were to happen to my PC or mobile, I'd still have the files. Ironically enough, if I had just saved my projects locally on my PC, I'd still have my files right now. But because I saved them through Icedrive, all progress is lost and on a tight deadline too. Now I can never know if my files get saved.
