When I got a new device, I tried a couple other Sudoku apps, but quickly went back to Genina — the game-play is simply better! No mid-game ads, no limited number of mistakes (so frustrating to have FUMBLE-FINGERS end a LOGIC puzzle!), switch back & forth between cell-first & digit-first any time, highlighted occurrences and bars/blocks, ... Definitely recommended. (I just wish my Galaxy had button-press screenshot, not palm-swipe, which often acts as a touch!)

Pure sudoku! I love the way they designed this app - simple and intuitive, with a few options for tools/hints that you can turn on or off as you please. There are banner ads, but they aren't intrusive and don't interrupt gameplay at all. I've tried a number of different sudoku apps over the years, but this is my absolute favorite.

Been using this app for years after I got tired of spending money on paper sudoku books. I see folks mentioning the assist features, but I actually like this app the best because those can be turned off - I wanted something as close to paper puzzles as possible, and this app provides it. Other apps wouldn't let me turn off the highlighting, timer, etc. but this one is fully customizable.
