About this app

Memorize anything with AnkiDroid!

AnkiDroid lets you learn flashcards very efficiently by showing them just before you would forget. It is fully compatible with the spaced repetition software Anki (including synchronization), which is available for Windows/Mac/Linux/ChromeOS.

Study all sorts of things wherever and whenever you want. Make good use of idle times on bus trips, in supermarket queues or any other waiting situation!

Create your own flashcard decks or download free decks compiled for many languages and topics (more than 6000 available).

Add material through the desktop application Anki or directly through Ankidroid. The application even supports adding material automatically from a dictionary!

Works perfectly as a simple flashcard app. However, if you're interested... The amount of customization allows for creative solutions that lead to a level of studying-optimization that other apps can only dream of. I started on PC, and about 2months ago I got it on my phone as well (I use it to learn Korean). Thank you so much to all the amazing people who worked on this!

Works great with cards added via the Chinese support via the desktop app. Synchronization between web, desktop, and app is flawless. Graphs and stats gives insight in how your memorization is going, which seems to be missing from commercial alternatives. All this, and open source too. What could be better?!

I like the app and idea of it, but it needs to be much more intuitive to use, I can look up information on how to use the app fine but would prefer to have clearer labels like a pencil icon on a deck to edit it. Make it easier to edit decks, provide the option to flip the front of back of the cards in the app when studying, and maybe down the line add features like study games. Benefits though, the app is very light weight, native dark mode is nice, and customization is excellent.
