Excellent flash card app. What would be great to improve 1) Support for proxy environments: User name and password dependent internet environments e.g. in uni etc 2) Layout view in card browser: It is a bit painful to see the source code of the flashcards in the card browser - or is there already a way to see change this? 3) True portable function without having to create short cuts.
Want to like it I have spent WAY too much time trying to make what should be a simple process work. It will not create reverse cards for me. First it said it was creating two cards, but the reverse was always empty. Then it wouldn't create the second card even when I have it set to basic and reverse. I could have handwritten 100 flash cards in the time I wasted trying to make this app work.
Fantastic, specially if you can use an existing deck Several decks are readily available, geography and language topics are well covered. The app allows to add simple text only card or make minor edits. For deck authoring you use a PC, sync and then study with the app. BTW, the app is just beautiful.
Unreliable tap-gestures Gestures (taps in certain areas on card) often don't work and I'm forced to tap the buttons to get to next card where it works again.
Excessively complicated and not user-friendly. I will continue to use this app due to the fact that I really like the cards. The cards themselves are easy to make and are simple. The app on the other hand is overly complicated and it takes too long to learn how to use it properly. There should be a "simple" option where you just make cards and can review them whenever you want, then have all the complicated features be optional.
Great design! One of the best spaced repetition apps out there. Very well-designed. I only wish it were easier to switch between multiple profiles! I use the app with my students in class as well as for my own studies. And it proves it to be very difficult to do that on the same device.
