SeeDVR turns your phone into a private viewer and recorder for the analog/IP cameras
connected to your DVR or NVR — without any cloud account, and without sending your video
anywhere.
Built for older Sofia/XMEye-family DVRs (and adaptable to others), it revives access when
the vendor app is gone or unwanted.
What it does:
• Live view of up to many cameras in a grid (1/4/9/16), tap for fullscreen, per-camera audio.
• Continuous local recording to your phone (substream → MP4), all cameras or a single one,
with a recordings gallery and in-app replay and sharing.
• Configurable recording segment length and storage limit (oldest deleted automatically).
• Remote access from anywhere over a VPN you control (e.g. WireGuard/OpenVPN on OpenWRT, or
Tailscale) — the DVR is never exposed on the Internet.
• Works with other DVR brands via an editable RTSP URL template (Hikvision, Dahua, and more).
• Snapshots you can share.
• Portrait and landscape.
Privacy first:
• No cloud, no account, no developer analytics or telemetry.
• DVR password encrypted with the Android Keystore; screenshots blocked; optional biometric lock.
• A built-in GDPR reminder about lawful surveillance.
Free with a small banner ad (with a consent choice where required); a one-time in-app purchase
