About this app

WaveMed is your personal emergency health record - stored on your device and, at your choice, written to your own NFC tag (RadTag, RadCard or RadPatch) so it can be read in an emergency, even without your phone.

CORE FEATURES - FULLY OFFLINE
- Enter your emergency medical information: blood type, allergies, conditions, medications, immunisations, emergency contacts and care notes
- Write it to your own NFC tag, protected with AES-256 encryption and a 4-digit PIN
- Read any WaveMed tag instantly - the record is read from the tag itself, no server involved
- Full report view - print or share as you choose
- Healthcare documents, logs and calendar to keep your records organised
- Help screen with a live map: search places in any language, find nearby hospitals, clinics and pharmacies, and get routes and travel time
- Core features work fully offline - no account needed, no tracking

OPTIONAL CLOUD ACCESS
- Cloud Access opens the RadCard patient portal for RadCard cloud subscribers (sign-in based)
- Only the sign-in details you enter (e-mail address and date of birth) are transmitted, over HTTPS
- Nothing from your on-device health record is uploaded automatically

PRIVACY BY DESIGN
- Your health information stays on your device and your tag, encrypted with AES-256
- No advertising, no analytics, no tracking SDKs

NFC HARDWARE
