R15K-world - didactic game on natural and anthropogenic risks
Nature has always conditioned human life for both positive and negative aspects.
Humanity has seen its existence marked, in all ages, by great catastrophes: terrible volcanic eruptions, large cities have been destroyed by fires or have been canceled by seismic events, huge landslides have changed the profile of mountains or the course of rivers, etc.
For some years it seems that these forces, also thanks to the globalization of communication, as well as torrential rains, wind, rivers in flood, are raging against man as never happened in the past.
In addition to natural disasters, man also contributes to harm: emissions of gases harmful to the environment, exploitation of natural resources without criteria, disrespect for the environment, use of harmful technologies. This type of disaster is called anthropogenic.
The risk of natural or man-made disasters is present and man cannot eliminate it. What it can do is prevent it from happening in a devastating way and mitigate the resulting effect.
It becomes a question of culture and information and children and young people are the ones who, growing up with this awareness, can improve the situation.
