About this app

Use the TREND AnyWARE™ app from TREND Networks to view and send data cable/network test reports to colleagues and clients anywhere.

The app connects to your TREND cable or network tester using Wi-Fi and transfers test reports to your mobile device. Once data is transferred, users can view the pdf reports and send them using their preferred file sharing method including email or other file sharing app.

Cable installers and IT technicians can share difficult problems with colleagues not located onsite to improve productivity and minimise downtime. Reports can also be sent to the client as soon as the job is complete demonstrating proof of performance.

Features include:
· Choice of file format - pdf or csv
· Test result filter – Pass/Fail/All
· Option to select specific jobs or test results within jobs

· SignalTEK CT – Data Cable Transmission Tester.

EULA data collection is too intrusive. Collecting data that had no relationship to the functionality of the tool. For instance there is no need to collect what music is stored on my device, searches, etc.. this should be a utility to move reports from device to phone maintaining client user and client privacy. Uninstalled.

Connected to my unit but the jobs that have been completed are not available for export over wifi. Also why it needs my GPS location I can't imagine.

I won't use it. It is asking for location. Why? This is not a GPS is a tester. I don't want whoever runs the app to collect information for the location of my clients. I may sell my Navitek and go back with Fluke shame that I didn't check the app first.
