The board is falling apart behind you. Keep moving.
In Pawn Rush, you start each run as a pawn on an endless chessboard. Read the pieces ahead, choose where to move, and stay one step ahead of the collapsing floor.
Capturing a piece changes the run.
Take a rook and you become a rook, opening up long straight moves. Capture a bishop and diagonal paths become available. A knight lets you jump in its familiar L-shaped pattern.
Each piece gives you a different way through the board, so the path that looked impossible a moment ago might suddenly become your best option.
But you can’t stay comfortable for long.
Tiles begin to crack before they fall, and the farther you travel, the less time you have to decide. You’ll need to watch the board ahead, recognize which pieces can help you, and keep adapting as the path changes.
There’s no single route to follow. Sometimes you’ll chase a piece because its movement can save your run. Other times, avoiding it is the better choice.
One wrong move can leave you with nowhere to go.
Then you start again.
Learn the pieces, read the board faster, and push a little farther each run.
