About this app

Stop letting "quick checks" on social media turn into hours of wasted time. Whether you’re trying to enjoy dinner without work pings, study for an exam, or play games without annoying popups, NoNet gives you your time back. It’s a simple, secure tool that lets you choose exactly which apps can stay online and which should stay quiet. Take control of your phone, block distractions, and boost your productivity with one easy tap.

Why Choose NoNet? (Real-World Use Cases) 💡
NoNet isn't just about "blocking"; it’s about control. Here is how our users are changing their lives:

🎯 Master Your Focus: Block distracting social media and chat apps while you work or study. Turn off the noise and get into the "flow state" instantly.

🛡️ Kid-Proof Your Phone: Handing your phone to a child? Block internet for banking, shopping, or work apps to prevent accidental transactions or deleted emails.

🎮 Pure Gaming, Zero Lag: Play your favorite offline games without being interrupted by pop-up or ping-killing background updates.

💼 Presentation Pro: Don't let a "private" message pop up while sharing your screen in a meeting. Cut the connection to chat apps and present with confidence.

🕰️ The "After-Work" Shield: Clocked out? Block work-related chat groups while keeping your streaming and music apps online. Enjoy your "me time" without the guilt.

✈️ Data Saver: Traveling? Stop data-hungry apps from eating your roaming budget in the background.

Exciting New Feature: The Productivity Timer ⏱️
We believe focus shouldn't be permanent. Use our Custom Timer to schedule your focus sessions. Need 45 minutes of deep study? Set the timer, and NoNet will automatically restore internet access once your session is done. No more forgetting to turn things back on!

How to Use NoNet in 3 Simple Steps 🛠️
Select: Open NoNet to see a clean list of all your installed apps.

Toggle: Search for the "distraction" and flip the switch.

Focus: Turn on the master toggle at the top.

That’s it! The selected apps stay offline while everything else works perfectly.

Transparency & Technology: How It Works 🔍
We believe in being 100% honest with our users.

Is it a VPN App?
No. We do not change your location, hide your IP for browsing, or provide proxy services. We simply use the VPN framework because it is the most secure, Google-approved method to manage per-app network connectivity.

Does NoNet use a VPN?
Yes. NoNet utilizes the Android VpnService.

The Difference: Unlike traditional VPNs that change your IP address or route your data to a distant server, NoNet creates a local tunnel on your device.

The Result: It simply acts as a "gatekeeper" for your network traffic. If an app is blocked, the traffic stops at the gate.

Your Privacy is Non-Negotiable 🔒
Zero Data Collection: We don't want your data. All processing happens locally on your phone.

No External Servers: Your traffic never leaves your device through us.

Minimal Permissions: We only ask for what is strictly necessary—internet access to manage the connections and Google Play licensing. No contact access, no gallery access, no snooping.

Stop the Distractions. Start the Focus.
Download NoNet today and take back control of your digital life. Whether it’s for work, study, or just a moment of peace, we’re here to help you stay disconnected from the noise and connected to what matters.

not only it doesn't work, it has ads. Edit: changed to 3 star because customer service replied to my review and it doesn't sound like an AI reply. Edit2: I was trying to stop the network access of MiVideo since it behaves like TikTok by streaming random videos. This app couldn't block that.

Thanks for the app name we are trying to test it but it is hardly showing anything may be because of the region. Anyway we will get back to you. Thanks. P.S. Social media apps cache things so they can load for a while even if the internet is off (test turning off WiFi), and some apps share same APIs (Android) so there are few limits.

I'm going to give it a try one more time and if it doesn't stay locked into the VPN then my Android is telling me that some type of app is or maybe causing problems with the VPN. Plus I also use another Internet blocker and it's supposed to have a VPN to keep traffic on the Internet. Thank you for the update and the information.

Thanks for the update. Android allows only one VPN at a time, so starting a new one disconnects the existing one. Even though our app is not a traditional VPN (no IP or location change), but it uses Android’s VPN service internally to apply DNS settings. Please let us know if you have any issues or write to us at info@ideastocode.com. Thanks.
