Ratings and reviews

Although every daily verse app is wonderful, since it delivers God's word to us, this one is the best available, in my opinion, for 3 reasons: (1) the verse selection is longer than most daily verse apps while still short enough to easily read. This puts the verse in a larger context, which adds to the meaning. (2) A commentary is included with each verse. These commentaries are biblically faithful and insightful. (3) you can easily switch back and forth between the verse and commentary.

This app has been a lovely part of my daily routine, going on ten years now! Simple layout, with no bells or whistles. Short but sweet commentaries, good choice in often longer verses that follow the seasons. If you're looking for a scripture app, I highly recommend this one!

I read the verses daily, first thing in the morning. Something I always look forward to. The person explaining the scripture really seems to know the Bible. A true, honest Christian.
