I just recently installed this app. Although the format and concept is interesting, the app is very buggy and practically unusable.It will freeze your phone and make everything start flashing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times and it's still buggy. Unless the developers fix this , I would not recommend it. It is really useless and a waste of money.

A great concept, but it's not ready for the market. It doesn't work. I added a star because the tech support has been superb - prompt, personal, informed, anxious to make it right. That doesn't, unfortunately, make it identify flies any better. Hopefully it will be improved soon.

As a seasoned flyfisherman and tyer I downloaded this to see how useful it would be to any entry level or learning fly angler. I find even after 15+yrs exclusively fly Angling theres still ample learning opportunity for me as well. I find the app to be very accurate in learning some of the many patterns available to represent the different macroinvertebrates and other species fish prey upon.
