About this app

PastLight brings old photographs back to life.

Pick a photo from your library — faded, scratched, creased, water-stained, or just soft and out of focus — and PastLight rebuilds the detail that time took away. Most restores finish in about thirty seconds.

WHAT IT FIXES
• Fading and colour shift
• Scratches, creases and tears
• Water stains and mould speckle
• Dust, specks and heavy grain
• Soft focus and blur

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick a photo, and crop to the part that matters
2. PastLight restores it
3. Save it to your gallery, or share it

Your first two restores are free. There is no sign-up and no account — nothing to cancel if you decide to stop.

PRIVACY
The photo you choose is sent to Google's Gemini AI to be restored, then sent back. Google does not use it to train their models. Your restored photos are kept on your device. We have no server and we keep no copies of your photographs. Location data is removed from every photo before it is sent.

CREDITS AND PLANS
One credit restores one photo.

• Yearly — $39.99 per year, with 30 credits every month
• Weekly — $4.99 per week, with 20 credits every week
• Starter pack — $2.99 for 5 credits, one time, not a subscription

Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in Google Play.
