Ratings and reviews

This was a fun game. At least, it was for the first theater. I enjoyed it enough to get around the in your face begging for money and dark patterns that showed up. However, once I got to the second theater and the new quasi-premium currency showed itself, I had enough and uninstalled the game. Not fun enough to deal with being stonewalled by gold for extended periods of time.

The game is enjoyable, the ads are not. It would be nice if the little red exclamation marks on the little icons of the game would go away when the rewards are only available through the ads. The game is good in that there is always something optional to check, always something to keep active, even on an idle game so you can keep busy. The spoof titles of movies are entertaining and fun to guess, and I'm glad they add more with every update. Good for fans of idle games.

This game becomes pay-to-win almost immediately. In many years of playing mobile games, I’ve never encountered one this aggressively monetized. The pricing feels extremely predatory, and progression quickly stalls unless you start spending money right away. There’s very little meaningful gameplay available without paying, which makes the experience frustrating and disappointing.
