The IDOne Read NFC test app reads and verifies the chip embedded in Peruvian national identity documents that comply with ICAO standards (ICAO 9309, Machine Readable Travel Documents MRTD). The app optically scans the CAN (Card Access Number) and the Machine Read Zone (MRZ) to access the chip. It then reads the information on the chip using NFC and displays the document holder's biographical and biometric data, as well as the document information. Following this, it displays the results of security checks performed using active authentication, chip authentication, and passive authentication.
