Buyer Beware works for about two months Then you cannot set temperatures at all. You only get the temperature that the meat IS and you can't set any alarms. No, nothing. I have restart the app. I have reset the thermometer. I have charged it. I have let it die and recharged it on. Did a bunch of stuff save your money? Do not buy this garbage.

App will not connect to wifi. When asked to connect to wifi the app does not allow you to input a space in your wifi password. EDIT: latest update addressed this issue. Used the probe twice now. Make sure to take out chicken 10 degrees before target. set for 165 target. When the app went off meat climbed to 174 while at rest. Also not sure which probe was correct. Meetmeat probe went up to 174 internal temp but a hard wired one went to 180. App works fine once you get the hang of it

The app is missing Ambient Temp plus no option for Slow Cooker method. Also, if I select Med-Rare it actually turns out as Medium so there's a disparity between mentioned temp and actual temp. I don't understand why 'thickness' is shown and only goes upto 3", I cook some very big joints, way bigger than 3". I've got used to it's inconsistencies but I really shouldn't have had too.
