Republic bank is 4 the people, Chase Bank is the devil. I was short on funds and barely scraping by when I had chase and I overdrafted so they slammed me with multiple overdraft fees, $35 per transaction. When someone doesn't have enough money, they charge them for not having enough money. I have overdrafted several times and they haven't charged me at all. They understand that if someone doesn't have enough money to cover a ,must have, purchase, it's not a good idea to tax them 4 being poor.

App would be great if it didn't time out in 10 seconds or less. Trying to deposit a check is ridiculous. Finally get a good pic and it times out. Snap a pic of the front and it times out. If it's always timing out it's pretty useless. Know what else 50% of the time when I go to use the ATM since the mobile deposit doesn't work, I get there and the ATM is down. Other than deposits it's cool. Update: after a couple years they finally got it right.

Update 8/7/23: App is unreliable now. I constantly have to close out and reopen to get it to allow me access. Half the time it just shows the Republic Bank logo and freezes. Wish they would figure out what's causing that. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it doesn't help. When it works, it's great. When is the keyword. ----------------------------- Fantastic app that is simple, yet, robust and to the point. No need for all the extra fluff like with other banking apps. I love this app.
