The app is VERY limited in its abilities. You can't set conditions for triggers which would take this from an app that does neat tricks, to something that can really help automate life. There was an app that did this, but a huge company bought the app and disabled it less than a year later. IFTTT is ok, but adding conditional triggers would take it to great. I have also not been able to change the default email address and it keeps sending my weather report to an email I don't use.

This app has become a disappointment. I used to have this app years back when it was free. Back then, one could even create their own triggers. Now I can't do that even with a trial premium plus subscription. Everything is "canned" with very little developmental capabilities. It's too bad, because this app used to be able to do so much more for so much less.

It's so limited in function, it's basically worthless. I have never once been able to successfully create a USEFUL applet in IFTTT, and I've tried several different applet ideas over the last few years. In the offchance that you can manage to implement your idea in an IFTTT applet, you can guarantee that it will be buggy or finicky and not work at the way you intend.
