The ultimate bridge between smart devices! I love using this to help make life easier, and bridge the gap between my different smart devices that don't talk directly to one another, but IFTTT does all the translation so they can. Now I can have my weather station keep my holiday inflatables safe from high wind, or turn lights on whenever it gets dark out. To me, worth the small monthly fee for pro, but only because I use it constantly to keep things tidy at home. Highly recommend!

It's so limited in function, it's basically worthless. I have never once been able to successfully create a USEFUL applet in IFTTT, and I've tried several different applet ideas over the last few years. In the offchance that you can manage to implement your idea in an IFTTT applet, you can guarantee that it will be buggy or finicky and not work at the way you intend.

Location based triggers go off constantly, even when I haven't left the area. Connect/disconnect from wifi triggers dont work at all. No ability to adjust even the settings in the free actions. Automation is completely useless if it only sort of changes a thing but doesn't change it to what I actually want when I actually want it.
