About this game

Move a piece. Or move the board.

Chesshift is a chess variant where every turn gives you two choices: make a chess move, or push a continuous row or column of eight tiles by one cell. Pieces ride along with their tiles, reshaping lines of attack and escape.

• Play against five AI difficulty levels.
• Share one device for local two-player games.
• Play online as a guest or with optional Google sign-in.
• Create public rooms, invite friends with a room code, rematch and reconnect.
• Choose untimed games or 3+2, 10+5 and 90+30 clocks.
• Learn by playing an interactive tutorial.

Keep your king safe as the board changes. Checkmate, castling, en passant and promotion remain part of the game.

Online play requires an internet connection. Guest records are tied to the installation and may be lost if you uninstall the app or clear its data. Contains ads.
