Make every space count in a backpack strategy adventure inspired by Journey to the West. Monkey King: 6x6 Merge combines inventory planning, number merging, roguelike choices, and auto battles. Your layout decisions determine how Monkey King and his companions fight when enemies approach.

Plan a Smarter Backpack
Spend Merit earned in battle on number tiles and decide what deserves one of four temporary backpack slots. Move each tile onto the 6x6 battle grid, adjust your plan around the available space, and build connected routes to your heroes. A useful tile in the wrong place may block a later placement, while a clear layout can turn a crowded board into an effective battle formation.

Merge Numbers, Build Stronger Links
Match equal numbers to advance from 1 to 2, 4, 8, and 16. Every merge asks you to balance immediate strength against future space. Arrange tiles carefully, extend each hero's connection, and decide when to combine or preserve a useful route. Your heroes attack automatically, while connected routes activate tile effects and put your planning into action.

Shape a Roguelike Build
At key milestones, choose one of three upgrades. Each decision can redirect your build, improve your attacks, or support the number chains already on the board. Relics add another layer of strategy, creating effects that work with hero attacks and grid connections. Adapt to what appears instead of relying on the same layout every time.

Grow the Journey to the West Team
Begin with Monkey King, then unlock Pigsy and Sandy to form a three-hero team. Equip weapons, improve talents, and connect the right number routes to the heroes that need them. Different combinations support different approaches, from concentrating power in one chain to balancing the whole grid.

The four-slot backpack makes every tile choice meaningful. The 6x6 grid turns every placement into part of a larger puzzle. Merging, connecting, relic choices, weapons, and talents come together in a tactical loop where preparation powers every automatic attack. Read the board, protect your open spaces, and turn a compact inventory into a battle-ready formation.
