Ratings and reviews

The recordings in SD are useless tbh cause the quality is so bad. It'd be fantastic if there was a way to watch more ads in order to be able to download and/or watch HD videos. I'd be willing to watch quite a few ads for each video in order to get it in SD rather than HD. If that was possible, this app would be a 100 out of 5. However, with the SD videos being the only option without the subscription, I can't use this app the way it is unfortunately. Will update if actions are taken by the devs!

Revised: the developers listened and gave an HD setting. In addition, some people have terrible connections and that can affect the quality of video. The developers have fulfilled their end of the bargain and I am quite pleased. I'll be a returning customer. Original review below: It's a very good app. However, sometimes there are parts of the stream that freeze and are missing. Please fix the quality. There is the issue of the app now not recording the profile at all. Please fix this bug.

I discovered this app a few years ago so that I could use it to edit simple videos for myself, and I instantly fell in love with it. I am only writing a review now because I am redowloading it and it just came to my mind. I would just like to tell any newcomers that need a fast, easy, (and free!) video editor, then Video Recorder is your go-to. It does everything that iMovie can do and more, and the experience is great. I have seen zero ads in this app ever, it has a good layout, there are no watermarks (except for one that appears at the end of your videos that you can turn off)and it is all completely free at the same time. It would be impossible to tell you everything that is better than iMovie or other free editors out there, but you should definitely at least give Video Recorder a try.
