What we have here may very well be the Dead Cells of phone games. It's a rogue-like with strategic combat, upgrades permanent and temporary, smooth controls, and, of course, a story that drives it's gameplay. As far as hidden gems go, this one's a keeper.

Very wellmade game, top tier, would have given 5* if not for the repetitive stages, and the fact that soul earnings don't scale to the difficulty... that is a huge bummer! Plus, there are TONS of fun weapons in the game but most of em are blocked beyond a fee or intensive add farm for them... and there is a chance you ger duplicates too. I absolitely love the game and the art, just needs a little more work if there was to be a sequel.

I beat Ultimate. It was a great game. I wish, though, that it followed closer to Death Road to Canada as far as random room layouts and the potential for increased enemy numbers goes. Ultimate didn't feel quite as ultimate as it it really could have been, but I'll be dammed if I didn't have a fun time doing it. Way to lock into what makes games addictive.
