This game is a simple game that's done right. I've been playing it for a few years now, off and on and I still discover something new periodically. Lots of replay value. The randomization keeps things fresh, and the clean style of the game keeps things fluid and smooth. There are no intrusive ads or pay to play. Not even notifications or permission. It's just a solid game. Support this Developer!

This game has scratched an itch I have had for a very long time. There are ZERO ads, it is a mashup of my two favorite retro games ever. There seems to be a lot of content to earn and upgrade over time, and it is endless as well as progressively difficult as you defeat enemies. Letting you play more casually instead of being rushed to survive immediately. Still challenging of course. But, in the earlier stages you earn a fair amount of currency and can still play very casually.

This game is rated five stars from me because it has different waves, bosses, and difficulties. Two things I would like in this game are more bosses and maybe an extra game mode. I play this a lot because Arcadium does not even have ads. Every other space shooter I have played had ads in them and they were so annoying. Thank you for not putting any ads inside the game! :)

What’s new

You can now jump up to the first abyssal waves. Jumping now grants a gem multiplier, making it even better!
Fixed an issue where Despoina could spawn multiple formidable allies.
Opening the spaceships view now opens on the currently active spaceship by default.
Fixed an issue where heart aliens would have a chance to not spawn a heart upon kill.
Less asteroids spawn in elite waves, even less in abyssal waves.
Many, many QoL improvements and bug fixes.
