My app was just updated today and it is horrible. I never was able to save rooms or mark no go zones but now I can't even see a map when it is done cleaning!! When the vacuum is running you can barely see where it is currently because the icon is so faint and they made the path taken color a very light baby blue color on a light grey background. It certainly does not look anything like the provided screen shots! Y'all need to hire some experience design staff!!!

Vacuum worked fine until the app insisted it needed to update. It would never go past 0%. I tried many times. It also prevented it's use until it was upgraded. I won't buy another ihome product as long as they force updates which at inconvenient times, and don't work. 11/23 App finally updated, it wiped out my password. It wouldn't let me use the vacuum until I recovered the it. So, it's useless if you ever lose the password. Stick with a traditional vacuum cleaner. Not worth it.

From the start this app did not work on 3 different phones, droid nor apple based... after several hours and attemps.. it finally connected to my phone only for it to continuously say "check if new version is updated".. if you select "sure" it says "firmware updating,pls wait a minute" for 5 minutes to return you back to the home screen, only to repeat the same pop-up everytime you select your vacuum.. if you select "cancel" it automatically sends you back to home screen as well. Never updates

Hi Justin, the AutoVac is designed to be used with 2.4Ghz networks. The frequency is more stable and provides a longer range of use. Sometimes phones switch between networks which may have contributed to your connectivity issues. While FW updates usually take a few minutes, it may take longer. Please allow extra time to complete the update.
