IISFT was established in 2004 with an aim to provide quality education and training among the professionals in the domain of Foreign Trade, Shipping and Logistics. The present trend shows that the industry is constantly striving to absorb the trained manpower. IISFT’s vision and mission are to assist the students and working professionals while building their career in Export-Import, Shipping and Logistics.
In the 21st century, the business environment is highly influenced by revolutionary changes in Technology. Hence, it becomes paramount for an educational institute to keep pace with the changing times. In order to meet such professional demands, IISFT constantly designs and redesigns the course structure and curriculum that is best suited to its corporate partners. In this new millennium, it is important that Education should be made Technologically Innovative and Challengingly Creative. IISFT is strongly committed to meeting such objectives which help students to prepare for future challenges by keeping a pace with constant technological changes.
IISFT persistently endeavours to impart necessary skill-based training and make an effective contribution towards “Skill India Mission” which focuses on empowering the youth of this country. As a better step towards promotion of skill development, IISFT is affiliated to the Logistics Sector Skill Council to offer various courses in Shipping and Logistics that are aligned to NSQF Levels. The NSQF (National Skills Qualification Framework) is a competency-based framework that organizes all qualifications according to a series. Hence, the certificates awarded to the students upon course completion have worldwide accreditation and recognition
