Check Register is a simple, private financial record-keeping app for tracking your checking accounts, savings accounts, and credit cards — the way a traditional paper check register works, but better.

Keep track of every transaction, reconcile your accounts, and always know your real balance. No bank connection required. No account sign-up. Your data stays on your device.

PRIVACY

Check Register does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal or financial data. All data is stored locally on your device. The app talks to two outside services: Google Drive, only when you back up or restore with your own Google account, and Google Play, which may ask once per version if you want to rate the app.

update: simply amazing. Thank you ☺️ First day, but the interface is exactly what I was looking for! I needed Mom’s old ledger, just digital—nothing fancy. This app is clean. Three things I’d love to see, in order of importance: 1. Show projected/available balances on the opening screen instead of current balances. 2. Allow accounts to be manually reordered instead of sorting by most recently added. 3. When entering a memo, adjust the screen so I can see what I’m typing.

It has a lot of good features. No ads. Has the ability to backup your data. It's a free app!

worked for about a week and then I couldn't input anymore transactions. waste of time

What’s new

Picking a payee no longer fills in the amount from the last time. To turn it back on, go to Settings and turn on Fill In Amount From Last Time.
The account screen header is centered again, and amounts line up on the right edge of each transaction, the way they did before 3.2.2.
