About this app
Ilk shows you the people around you who are into what you're into.
No swiping. No photo grid. No exact locations. You pick your interests — as specific as you like — and Ilk's map shows you nearby people who genuinely overlap, scored by how deep the match goes.
HOW IT WORKS
• Pick your interests, mark one as your top passion
• See like-minded people as friendly avatars on a living map — never at their exact location
• Say hi. They accept, ignore, or block — no unsolicited spam
• Meet as friends, collaborators, or maybe more. You decide what it becomes.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
• Nobody sees your exact location — other people see only the map area you are in (about 36 km²)
• No public photos required; your avatar represents you
• Anonymous until YOU choose to share more
• Block and report tools built in from day one
ALWAYS SOMEONE TO TALK TO
Quiet area? Ilk includes AI companions — always clearly labeled with an AI badge — so the map is never empty while your local community grows.
Ilk is for adults aged 18 and over.
