About this game

Take on the role of an aspiring alchemist. Your teacher has succeeded in harnessing the four basic elements: fire, water, earth, and air. By mixing these elements, you'll be able to unlock all the recipes you need to uncover the secrets of alchemy. Inventions and potions, animals and plants and much more interesing things!

Create combinations using two or three elements (you can use every element twice or thrice). Recipes might be based on science (water + fire = steam) or on a set of symbols (fish + fountain = whale).

Ratings and reviews

Some of the recipes make less sense than others, but I also get that you have to really pick and choose in development what gets made first. Also, I made all 650 of the current recipes. I know you're continually developing more, but maybe when the player gets through all of the current recipes, program a little congratulations message? Getting all of them made to be greeted by basically an empty screen was a bit anticlimactic.

It's fun! I am enjoying it more than most alchemy games I've played. I like that some are 2 ingredients and some are 3, and the hint mechanic gives just enough help to keep me from getting permanently stuck (which happens for me in alchemy games) but sparse enough to encourage really trying. The pictures are also very cute. The ads are not too obnoxious.

Quite enjoyable! A good exercise for the mind. I spend a fair amount of time waiting or simply needing to occupy myself, and this is a great alternative to other idle- or time occupier type games, without requiring the kind of engagement/sole attention as some other puzzle games, allowing me to be aware of my surroundings (like when waiting at the Dr's, for instance). I particularly like that there's no timer of any sort, allowing me to proceed at my own pace.
