Rise of Castles is a Massive Multi-Player, Real-Time strategy war game. The player will take on the role of a leader in a small town devastated by the invasion of the Eastern Dynasty and the mysterious appearance of the legendary Death Harbingers who now has corrupted and have full control of the ancient powers of the dragons. I was looking for a new game. I had played another game with a friend who told me he liked this game. so I've tried it and decided to stay. base building, heroes, research,army, all the normal stuff. but I like battle structure. and it is a battle game. use a shield, duh..but I recommend it if you're looking for this style of game. I'll comeback in six months and let you know.

The game has a "Rise of Nations" or "Age of Empires" feel HOWEVER, it seems to be very limited in what you can do and when, as if the game is always leading you and not letting you figure out things for yourself. Otherwise it is a fun daily game to play for 15-20 minutes at a time. once you get to level 21, 22+ it becomes really difficult to advance as the creators have pushed it into a pay-to-play type game at that point, so if you want to advance any further you either have to buy stuff.

I have been playing this game for almost 4 years and unfortunately it's sad to say that it has become less and less playable every day. The game is constantly crashing and disconnecting. There are way too many game bugs now. I used to be able to switch between this game and other applications and I cannot anymore. Contacting customer service is hopeless, they only respond with AI and do not resolve my game issues.
