The CAR is a body that supports the sport to make it internationally competitive, optimizing resources of the highest technical and scientific quality. To this end, it has the necessary means for the integral training of athletes and makes the company is a participant of the knowledge generated by its activities.
 
The High Performance Centre considers academic and every human person as or more important than the strictly sports. For this priority, the Centre provides its athletes with the tools necessary for their development. CAR athletes can attend classes in high school and ESO Institute exists in the same facilities of CAR with a highly qualified staff.
 
The CAR has a residence concentrations. Many teams and teams from different sports (football, handball, volleyball, hockey, tennis, swimming, gymnastics, taekwondo, etc), either Catalan, Spanish or outside the state, which perform their stays preparation the CAR.
