The app does not provide government services, submit complaints, register FIRs, or guarantee assistance from any authority. Any government-related information shown in the app is provided only for public awareness and is sourced from publicly available official portals listed below.

Safety Features

Emergency SOS
Pink Shakti provides an optional SOS feature designed to help users quickly contact emergency services during a difficult situation.

• One-tap SOS activation
• Option to open the device dialer for publicly listed emergency helpline numbers
• Option to call 112, India’s Emergency Response Support System

Pink Shakti only opens the phone dialer with the selected number. It does not receive, route, monitor, record, manage, or guarantee communications with any government authority or emergency service. Calling and assistance depend on device, network availability and the relevant authority’s response.

Emergency Location Sharing
When the user activates SOS and gives consent, the app can share their current location with contacts selected by the user through email. Pink Shakti does not continuously track users or share their live location with any government authority.

Optional SOS Photo Capture
If the user expressly enables this feature, Pink Shakti may capture photos only during SOS activation to provide situational context for the user’s chosen emergency contacts. Users can enable or disable this feature at any time.

Women Safety and Empowerment Awareness
Pink Shakti provides simplified awareness content on:

• Women’s legal rights and legal awareness
• Women welfare schemes and public-support information

This content is informational only and does not constitute legal, financial, medical, counselling, emergency, or professional advice. Users should contact the relevant official authority or qualified professional for assistance.

Community Safety Map
Users may voluntarily share safety-related observations on the in-app map for community awareness. Such sharing is not an official crime report, police complaint, FIR, emergency request, or government communication.

Official Crime Reporting
For eligible online police services, users may choose to open the official Uttar Pradesh Police website in their device browser. Pink Shakti does not process, submit, store, track, or follow up on any FIR, police complaint, or government request.

Period Tracker
The Period Tracker allows users to personally record and monitor menstrual-cycle information. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, counselling, or healthcare recommendations. Please consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.

Privacy
• No continuous background location tracking
• Location sharing occurs only during SOS and only with user consent
• No sale of personal data
• No advertisements
• Safety-related information is handled only for the features selected and permitted by the user
