CorkClass is an Android mobile application aimed at cork oak forest owners and technical managers, enabling them to identify and classify the quality of cork in their groves using quantitative and qualitative data and automated image processing. The application classifies cork into two qualities (corkable or refugo), based on caliber, porosity coefficient, and visually noticeable anomalies. Using the application to classify cork in the field will help owners better understand the raw material, adjust pricing, and increase the added value of their production.
