Words while your ears are free.

On the commute, on a walk, while cooking or in the shower, your eyes and hands are busy. Your ears are not. Colish groups words into sets of 50 and plays them on a loop with more natural native-language audio. Put on headphones, pocket the phone, leave the screen off.

Listen as you go
You work with 50 words at a time, round after round, until they sound familiar. Playback has Standard, Quick, Immersive, and Shadowing. Speed and the pause between words can match your pace.

Fade Review
Three steps: listen to a set of 50; mark a word you know, and it plays less often in that set; days later those words come back for review. Time goes to the words you have not learned yet.

One action
When you know a word, mark it. If you are unsure, mark it Not yet, and this round plays it more. That is the only action, so it works while walking or doing chores.

50-word stages
A whole book is split into stages of 50. When most of a set is mastered, the next stage comes in: mastered words leave, later words from the book fill the gap, and you still face 50. You can see each word's state at any time: playing, mastered, familiar, or not yet.

Due review
Due words form their own group: play the word, pause so you can recall, then show the meaning, and choose remembered or forgotten. Remembered words wait longer next time. Forgotten ones return to the set you hear every day. A notification fires when they are due. Open it and you are in review.

Without looking
On headphones, one click pauses or resumes, two clicks skip to the next word, three clicks mark it known. Lock-screen media controls have previous, next, and known, and they show the word being spoken and what it means.

Gestures and cues
On the player, swipe left or right to change words, swipe up to mark known, swipe down to mark not yet, two-finger swipe down for the sleep timer. Every action has a haptic and a sound. Marks use a cue, not speech, so they do not interrupt the word being spoken.

More natural native-language audio
Words and examples play with more natural native-language audio. Each word has a short example sentence, so usage comes with it.

Offline listening
After you pick a book, audio downloads in the background. Once it is done, you can keep listening on the subway, on a plane, or anywhere without a signal.

Decks
Starter lists, HSK core words, and JLPT common words. Pick a book for an exam, or start with high-frequency words to grow vocabulary. More books are being added.

Native language
Choose your native language in Settings. Meanings and the interface language follow it. The book list shows the ones that fit.

Sleep timer
Set a time before bed and playback stops then. You can also stop after the current round.

Switch phones
After you sign in, mastered words, review schedule, and the book you are listening to sync to a new phone. Learning and listening work without signing in. Sign in when you want the sync.
