PatchMap puts the show’s patch sheet, stage plot and crew chat on your phone.
The audio engineer builds the show at patchmap.app — inputs, mics, stage boxes and the stage plot. On show day the crew scans a QR code and everyone works from the same live rig.
JOIN A LIVE ROOM
• Scan the front-of-house QR code, or type the room code
• No account needed to join — enter your name and you’re in
SEE THE WHOLE RIG
• Patch sheet: every channel, what’s on it and where it’s patched
• Stage plot: the stage drawn to scale — pinch and pan
• Board: the room’s running technical record
FLAG PROBLEMS FAST
• Flag a channel in two taps: noise or hum, no signal, feedback, or your own note
• Type @12 in chat to talk about channel 12, or @12 /flag to raise an issue on it
• Clear a flag when it’s fixed, so the whole crew sees it’s done
• Move a cable from your phone and the patch updates for everyone
• No signal backstage? Flags are saved and sent when you’re back online
WORK ALONE, TOO
• Start a solo run on any show you own and flag as you line-check
• Keep a log of the shows and venues you’ve worked
