The Vancouver Sun app connects you to the news you need to know. Create your custom feed so you don't miss the latest from your favourite writers.

If you are not an existing subscriber, you can easily sign up through the app marketplace.

· Payment will be charged to your store account upon confirmation of purchase.
· Subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
· The account will now be charged $14.99 for monthly renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
· You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal after purchase in the App settings. Select "My Subscription" then "Manage my Subscription" and you will be able to make changes.

Just read my review from 2017, and I realize I am having the same problem in 2021. I reinstalled this app a year or so ago but am STILL having trouble with the app freezing on my Samsung phone. I have the current update, still freezes. Its not my phone because I have absolutely no problem with any other app on my phone. Too bad, its well designed, just cant read anything without freezing.

Used to use this app often to read up on local news, but recently they've added video ads embedded into their articles that start playing on their own with full sound blasting. There's no way to mute the ads, and there is no way to pause the ads to stop the annoying sounds of the ads playing except to turn off the sound on my phone itself. So straight to uninstall this app goes. Good job on your app design there...

I used this app daily for years and finally broke down to do the update since app was getting very buggy. Seriously regretted the update. Only got, I think, a few free article reads, asked me to register, now it's all behind a pay wall subscription....sorry to see VS go....Uninstalled now....
