PDF Toolbox is a fast, private PDF utility that does everything on your phone. No account, no ads, no cloud uploads — your documents never leave your device.
SCAN DOCUMENTS
Point your camera at a page and PDF Toolbox detects the edges, straightens the page, and cleans it up automatically. Scan multiple pages into a single PDF, apply filters, and crop before you save.

RENAME, SAVE AND SHARE
Rename any file before you send it. Save a copy anywhere on your device through Android's own file picker, or share straight to email, chat or cloud storage using the standard share sheet.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Every operation runs on your device. There is no server, no account, and no analytics. The app has no access to your files beyond the ones you specifically choose, and it requests no storage permission at all — file access goes through Android's Storage Access Framework, so you grant access to individual files only.
The one exception is stated plainly: the first time you use the document scanner, Google Play services downloads the scanner component. That is a one-time download handled by Android itself. Everything after that works offline, and the app shows you the download with a progress bar rather than doing it silently.
WORKS OFFLINE
Apart from that one-time scanner download, the app needs no internet connection. Use it on a plane, on the train, or with mobile data switched off.

One clear tile per tool. Light and dark themes that follow your system setting. No clutter, no upsells, no watermarks on your documents.
GOOD TO KNOW
• Merge, Split and Compress re-render pages as images, so text in those output files is no longer selectable. This is ideal for scanned documents. Text you add yourself in the editor stays selectable and searchable.
• The Edit PDF tool layers your additions on top of the page. It cannot change text that is already in the PDF — to replace something, cover it with a box and type over it.
• Compressing a PDF that is mostly text may not make it smaller. The app checks, tells you, and keeps your original rather than handing back a bigger file.
• The document scanner needs Google Play services. On devices without it, the app falls back to plain camera capture.
