For a simple app, to create transactions on the go, I think it is really good. The only thing I find missing is the 'Tag' line missing, which I assign to every transaction. To use tags, I must assign these using the desktop application. Otherwise it does everything for transactions 'on the go,' as I believe it was originally designed for. Sorry - one 'Star' removed as 'Tags' should be part of the application. Otherwise a '5'. Everyone has their own 2 cents - mine is 'Tags' Keep up the good work.
At first this looked great, but although it appeared to sync with Dropbox no entries showed up in the PC version. Dropbox synced perfectly with a laptop so the app is the problem. Support was excellent and now the app is working well. I suggest be prepared for problems and use the help provided. It is very useful.
First thing it did was require sync to Dropbox. I did. I have the money dance directory in dropbox. App wouldn't find it. All would do is search and say nothing found. Useless. After Google search found must go into to desktop and set up access from there to the folder in dropbox. Then app could see the data. Not nearly as useful as the desktop version but can see & add transactions. It's free... Desktop version is great.
Wish it would distinguish between which transactions have cleared, processing and uncleared. Otherwise, it's ok. Been using HandyBank for years to sync with MoneyDance on desktop but ran into some sync issues recently. May try to go back to it since it gives me more info.
When I open the app, a blank screen shows up with "choose a folder" title. And a small message appears saying no folders found. I had a big hope in this app.
Easy to use and has powerful tools (PC version). Mobile app is easy to use but doesn't have all the features of the desktop version, of course. Last year, I switched from Quicken to Moneydance and have not regretted it.
