Infomaniak Check was created to simplify identity verification procedures and strengthen the security of your account.

This app allows you to securely transfer the requested elements if you lose your login details, to request the deactivation of dual authentication, to unblock your account or to verify certain orders and/or payments.

Depending on the situation, the application will ask you for:

- Verification by SMS
- Your location
- A copy of your ID document
- A selfie

kCheck requires a request for identity verification from the support team and an Infomaniak account.

Ratings and reviews

This review is about the process, not the app. After setting up an account, configuring it, and then paying for a service (albeit with 3d verification), infomaniak may decide to block your account, requiring that you verify yourself. Want to just leave cause you don't like the process? Well, sorry, that's blocked too. Ludicrous, fraudulent, and unacceptable. I've never been asked for ID verification + photo by Google gmail for verification of a business account. None of this is in the terms

App does what it should but: Why force users to download an extra app just for verification? It's so unnecessary. If I hadn't been able to go through the entire payment process already before the forced app-verification came up, I would have chosen a different registrar without that annoying app-hurdle.

Paid for a service just like everyone else, domain has been held up, so there goes $30 I guess. They want me to download this app to check my identity and it won't send the SMS. This service seemed really promising, but this experience has been absolutely horrible. How am I supposed to trust them with my wrbsite when their website has errors, their app has errors, all of which are hidden from the user? I contacted support and of course I won't be hearing back from them for at least 24 hours...
