Two paddles. One arena. Zero mercy.
Pingmen is a fast-paced brick-busting battle for Android TV, Google TV, and tablets. Play solo against the AI, or sit down with a friend on the same screen and fight it out in the shared arena in the middle.
SIMPLE RULES, DEEP RIVALRY
Each player controls a paddle on their side of the screen. You bounce the ball into the arena in the centre and score in two ways: by smashing a breakable brick, or by sending the ball past your opponent's paddle. Every match is on the clock — whoever has more points at the end wins.
NOT ALL BRICKS ARE THE SAME
• Breakable — one hit, one point.
• Solid — bounces the ball back and cannot be destroyed. Use it as a wall.
• Cloner — multiplies the ball. Suddenly you are tracking more than one.
• Teleporter — swallows the ball and spits it out at another Teleporter on the field. You never know where.
• Pulsar — a hit sets your paddle shaking. Sideways vibration, and it is not easy.
SOLO OR TWO PLAYERS
Against the AI, you pick from three difficulties — from simply tracking the ball, through predicting its path, to strategic paddle positioning. Two-player is a duel on a single screen: same controls, opposite side, no split view.
COMMUNITY PINGROUNDS
Beyond the built-in levels, you can play pingrounds — levels built by other players. Browse them right on your TV, search by name, like your favourites, and come back to them. Build your own pinground in the editor at pingmen. games and publish it for everyone else.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND STATS
32 achievements — some one-off, some tiered ones that grow as you play. They count only from single-player matches against the AI on the built-in levels, so everyone is measured the same way. Plus a profile with match history and statistics. Just sign in with Google; without signing in, you play as a guest.
CONTROLS
On TV, the D-pad moves your paddle up and down, OK launches the ball, and Back pauses the match. On a tablet, you guide the paddle with your finger and launch with a tap. A connected gamepad works the same way on both.
For two players on a single tablet, we recommend controllers — some tablets do not reliably register a second simultaneous touch.
